College Corner
"Shoremen at the Next Level"

October 4, 2008

A couple more folks sent emails this week to let us know about two more Shoremen from the class of 2008 playing college football. Sean Oxley has made the Notre Dame team as a freshman linebacker. Watch for #50 on the sideline when the Irish are at home. Click here for a photo of Sean. Ryan Scherer is a freshman wideout at Penn State. He wears #29 for the Nittany Lions home games. (There are two #29s Im guessing Ryan is the shorter one.)

Andrew Means pulled in two receptions for 19 yards in Indianas 16-7 loss to Minnesota. (click here for some photos of Andrew)

Trey Stross caught one pass for 11 yards as Michigan State edged Iowa by a 17-13 count.

Scott Nealon punted 8 times for a 36.8 yard average in B-Ws 48-3 loss to Mt. Union. The Raiders blocked one of his punts, but Scott picked up the ball & ran 17 yards for a first down.

As always, if I missed anyone, please let me know. Wed also love to see any photos of the guys, and of course updates from the players themselves are always appreciated.
