In other action Saturday:
- Senior co-captains Zach Lewis and John Ramsier wound up their college careers on a winning note as Oberlin finally got off the schneid with a 48-7 pasting of Hiram. Lewis caught 2 passes for 31 yards and a touchdown while Ramsier had a two tackles. Junior Shawn Brunner, the starting tight end for the Yeoman, had two catches for 16 yards.
- Jesse Cole had one tackle playing on the Seminole's special teams as #8 Florida State squeaked by NC State 17-10 to keep their BCS bowl hopes alive.
- Baldwin Wallace's season ended on a sour note in a 10-0 loss to John Carroll. The Yellow Jackets, who were 6-0 a month ago, have been unable to generate any offense over the last four games. Derek Fabry closed out a fine season with four tackles, included two for losses.
- Dave Rehker started at center again for Miami in a 42-21 win over Western Michigan. The victory sets up a battle for the MAC East title against Akron at noon this Saturday. Dave rolled his ankle late in the game and limped to the sidelines, but he should be ready to go for the big game at Akron.
